But what saddens me a little bit is that very few visitors ever ask about the pictures. Finally...you'd want to leave Casa Minimus in short order, mainly because it's a modular home over near Shirlington.

ScaleWormer...DIA...never been. I'll have to. I miss Detroit, as dead as it had become, I still miss it, especially the DIA.Scale Wormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09583891708651272779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8818519199109196200.post-46574819715448483252011-11-02T10:42:23.520-04:002011-11-02T10:42:23.520-04:00James...and I'm reminded of YOUR goodness ever...James...and I'm reminded of YOUR goodness every time I see the Knight on my shelf. Thanks again.

FoplingFlutt...I JUST got a Nicholson woodcut two weeks ago. The WOODCUTS are RARE. They are laid down on heavier card stock...hand coloured by the young Nicholson himself and finally, signed by him in black ink. The LITHOGRAPHS printed FROM the woodcuts are fairly common.

Ok, this concludes my lecture. But the enigma I reckon, is that the viewing public isn't ever gonna be as crazy about the purely "Whistler stuff" as niche nuts like me are. So most of it isn't on display.

Anon...S.C. genre...Indeed you are spot on. I've always loved Hutty's Charleston stuff as well as Alice Ravenel Huger Smith and of course, Elizabeth O'Neil Verner. But I've avoided it.
